This policy describes the processing of personal data on https://nettopalkka.fi under Articles 13 and 14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What the calculators do not do

Salary, municipality, children, pension, rent and every other input are processed only in your browser. They are not sent to any server, not stored and not linked to any identifier. The share link carries your inputs in the address bar: pass it only to people you choose.

The host records IP address, time, page requested, browser and referring page. Purpose: security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). Retention according to the host, GitHub.

Anonymous stability monitoring with Microsoft Clarity, cookie-free

We keep no personal data about you. So that the site keeps working, we use Microsoft Clarity from Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, Dublin, in its cookie-free mode. Each page view is measured for errors, loading times, clicks that go nowhere and scrolling, without a cookie and without linking visits; page content and inputs are masked. Microsoft receives the technical request data, including the IP address used to derive an approximate location, and keeps recordings for 30 days and aggregated data for up to 13 months. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a working site (Article 6(1)(f)); no cookie or identifier is kept on your device. You can object at any time by blocking clarity.ms or by writing to us. The site carries no advertising.

If you write to us, we process your address and message to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention: three years after the last exchange.

4. Recipients

No disclosure and no sale. The host can access logs, as a processor (Article 28); Microsoft processes the technical data of the stability monitoring.

5. Transfers outside the EU

The host, GitHub, Inc., is based in the United States; logs may be processed there under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Microsoft Corporation may likewise process Clarity data in the United States.

6. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Articles 15 to 21): write to contact@nettopalkka.fi; we reply within one month. You may complain to our lead authority (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL), https://www.cnil.fr) or, in Finland, to the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Article 77).

7. No automated decisions

A calculation is an estimate made at your request with no legal effect, not an automated decision under Article 22.
