A result differs from your payslip

Send the calculator’s share link (it carries your inputs) and the relevant payslip lines, without your name or personal identity code (henkilötunnus). The usual causes are fringe benefits, an outdated income limit on your tax card, a pay rise during the year or extras from your collective agreement. If the error is ours, we fix it and add the case to our tests, as described in the editorial policy.

Embedding a calculator

Expat associations, union branches, newsrooms and HR teams can embed the net pay calculator for free: the code is on the embed page.

What we do not do

No personal tax or legal advice and no review of official decisions. For your own case, Vero, Kela, your pension provider and your unemployment fund are the right contacts.

Response time

Usually within five working days, error reports first. Every value is reviewed at least every 12 months.
